We hebben weer een bijzonder leuke en stijlvolle MGB in onze collectie! De MGB Roadster is zonder twijfel een van de meest bekende klassieke cabriolets en daarnaast ook nog eens een zeer gebruiksvriendelijke en comfortabele rijdersauto. En deze engelse klassieke auto is niet alleen betaalbaar in aanschaf, maar ook in onderhoud. Dat geldt ook zeker voor deze prachtige British Racing Green MGB uit 1971.

De auto is geproduceerd eind 1970 en vervolgens in februari 1971 op de weg gekomen. Oorspronkelijk geleverd in Amerika (zoals bij de meesten het geval is) en daarna in 1995 is de auto in Nederland gekomen. Er is weinig documentatie bij de auto aanwezig, maar het is heel goed zichtbaar dat de auto met veel zorg en liefde is onderhouden. De carrosserie is in hele goede conditie en ook alle carrosserie delen sluiten mooi op elkaar aan. Het lakwerk is niet perfect, maar nog wel bijzonder mooi. Dit geldt ook voor de diverse chroomdelen en sierlijsten. En zeker de verchroomde spaakvelgen staan bijzonder mooi en geven deze groene MGB extra stijl en klasse.

Het interieur is ook nog in prima en hele goede conditie. De deurpanelen zijn volledig nieuw en ook de stoelen zijn nog in hele goede staat. Ook het dashboard is nog heel mooi en alle instrumenten werken naar behoren. Het bijzonder mooie houten stuurwiel past perfect bij deze kleurencombinatie en dit interieur. De cabrioletkap is ook nog in prima staat, de afdekhoes is helemaal nieuw.

Technisch is de auto in hele goede staat. De auto rijdt en stuurt bijzonder soepel en alles voelt solide en degelijk aan. Ook onder de motorkap is alles bijzonder netjes schoon en in orde. De motor loopt rustig en mooi en ook de versnellingsbak schakelt soepel en trefzeker. Voor een stukje bedrijfszekerheid is er op deze auto een elektronische ontsteking gemonteerd en ook is er een extra oliekoeler aanwezig. Deze dingen maken de auto extra betrouwbaar.
